How to create product label QR codes in bulk

  1. Export your product list. From Shopify, WooCommerce, your ERP, or your inventory spreadsheet, export SKU codes or product page URLs as a single column.
  2. Paste into BatchQRCode. Open batchqrcode.com and paste your SKUs or URLs. One row equals one product QR code.
  3. Choose SVG for print. SVG scales without pixelation, which is important for product labels. PNG works for screen and standard print jobs.
  4. Download and place. The ZIP contains one file per product. Import into your label design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) or send to your label printer.

What to encode on product QR codes

Product page URL

Link to the product page. Customers scan to view specs, reviews, or reorder.

SKU or barcode value

Encode the SKU for warehouse scanning. Faster lookup than a barcode for inventory systems that already store QR readers.

Manual or instruction URL

Link to the product manual, assembly guide, or safety data sheet. Update the page content without reprinting if you use a redirect.

Warranty or support URL

Encode a warranty registration or support form URL. Scan from the box to register the product on the spot.

Static vs dynamic QR codes for product labels

Static QR codes (what BatchQRCode generates) bake the URL or value directly into the image. Once printed, they cannot be changed. That is fine when the product page URL and SKU are stable.

Dynamic QR codes redirect through an editable short link. Choose dynamic, from tools like QR TIGER or Uniqode, when you need to update the destination after labels are already printed. An example: swapping a product URL from a sale landing page back to the standard page after a promotion ends.

Frequently asked questions

What format is best for product label QR codes?

SVG for professional print. It scales to any size without pixelation. PNG for screen display and standard label printers. Avoid JPEG for small label print because compression artifacts can reduce scan reliability.

Can I generate QR codes for 1000+ SKUs at once?

Yes. Paste all rows at once. BatchQRCode has no per-batch limit and no server queue to wait in.

How do I match each QR file to its product?

Files are named by row number (qr_001.png). The row order in the ZIP matches the order of your CSV. Export your product list in a consistent order and keep the CSV as a lookup reference.
