Open the generatorHow to generate bulk vCard QR codes
- Build your vCard strings. Each contact is one block of text in vCard format. See the format reference below.
- One contact per line is not enough. Each vCard block is multiple lines. Separate contacts by putting each full vCard block on consecutive lines, then leave a blank line between contacts. BatchQRCode treats each blank-line-separated block as one QR code.
- Paste into BatchQRCode. Open batchqrcode.com and paste your contact blocks. Each block generates one QR code.
- Download the ZIP. One PNG or SVG per contact. Print on badges, business cards, or conference materials.

When bulk vCard QR codes are useful
Conference name badges
Print a QR code on each attendee badge. Other attendees scan to save the contact without typing anything. Works without internet at the venue.
Sales team business cards
Generate a QR for every rep at once. Export from your CRM, format the vCard strings, batch generate, hand off to the printer.
Speaker and exhibitor directories
Add a QR code to each speaker's profile page or exhibitor booth sign. Attendees scan to save the contact and the speaker's website link in one tap.
Employee directories and ID cards
Put a vCard QR on staff ID badges. Visitors can scan to save the right contact instead of asking for a card or typing an email address.
Frequently asked questions
Do vCard QR codes work without internet?
Yes. The contact information is encoded directly in the QR image. Scanning saves it to the phone's contacts app without any network request.
What happens when someone scans a vCard QR code?
On iOS and Android, the camera app recognizes the vCard format and offers a "Save contact" prompt. The phone adds the contact without opening a browser or app.
Can I update the contact info after printing?
No. The information is baked into the image. If a phone number or email changes, you need to regenerate and reprint. If you need updatable contact cards, consider a dynamic QR code tool like QR TIGER or Uniqode that redirects through an editable link instead.
Is there a limit on how many contacts I can generate?
No limit. BatchQRCode runs in your browser with no server queue. Paste 500 vCard blocks and all 500 generate at once.
Are my contact details uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing runs in your browser. Phone numbers, emails, and names never leave your device.
